Rather than using Red Box or renting from a video store, Ross will often bring home movies from the library. This is great because it is free and we can keep the movies longer. We don't get any new releases, but we've found that you can still find movies (older and newer) to enjoy.
Last weekend we watched "The Sound of Music." This was a first for Ross. He hadn't ever seen it before, but was surprised by how many songs already knew. Of course with a classic musical like this, most people have heard the songs before.
As we were watching we decided that someday when we have an overabundant amount of money that we are going to get a lakeside mansion in beautiful Austria. It would also have a big gazebo in the backyard where we can go out back and sing in the moonlight....Ok, so maybe not so much on the singing part. We are not exactly the Von Trapp Family Singers. But we did really love the beautiful sights and landscapes they showed in the movie.
