Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Some of the mothers in the neighborhood still do the little preschool group that we participated in last year. They have little field trips about once a month and they are nice enough to invite others to join them when they do. For their October field trip, we went to a local pumpkin patch.

Here's the kids playing in the corn pit. Leah didn't like it too much. The corn was pretty deep and she kept sinking in and the corn would fill her shoes. After I let her take her shoes off, she enjoyed it a little more. Corbin didn't want anything to do with the corn. Whenever I put him down in it, he immediately wanted right back out.
Corbin did like seeing the farm animals in the little petting zoo.
Leah and Millie loved climbing the bars on this empty cage. And of course, since his sister was doing it, Corbin had to give climbing a try too.
These were probably the wildest animals at the pumpkin patch.
These tube slides were definitely a favorite. Even Corbin enjoyed climbing the hay bales to get to the top and slide back down.
Leah and Millie climbed to the top of this mound of hay. Leah was pretty proud and wanted to make sure I saw her up at the top.

We had a great time spending the morning with our friends. This was the first of a few trips to various pumpkin patches. They are a fun part of the Halloween season.
