Leah has had so much fun with preschool this year! Her teacher, Ms. Nikki, is amazing!!! She is so fun, energetic, and does so much for her students whom she loves so much. I just wish it wasn't going to be so long before Corbin will be able to attend her preschool.
She worked so hard with Leah's class to have them ready for their graduation program. And they did such a great job. Leah practiced a lot so that she could say her part in the program: "We learned about electricity and cheese is not a conductor, but tin foil is." (That might not have been exactly what she was supposed to say, but really close. I can't remember exactly how it went.)
Ms. Nikki had so many good things to say about Leah. She is such a good friend to everyone in her class. She is really smart and received an award for always turning in her homework. (I thought this was kind of funny because getting homework done with Leah was always such a struggle. She usually didn't want to do it and/or didn't want me to tell her how to do it. But at least we got it done and turned in. Let's hope this is a good start to a good habit for later on.)
Leah had a lot of people there to support and cheer her on. She was definitely excited that her cousins, Makynlee and Jackson could come.
Leah made such good friends in preschool this year. I just feel bad none of them will be going to her elementary school. But that's ok because I know she will make more new friends. Here she is with her good buddy, McKay. McKay used to live in our neighborhood and his mom is the one who told us about Ms. Nikki and The North Star Preschool.
Here is Leah with her good friend, Daniel.
This is Evelyn. I wish I would have thought to get more pictures with her and her friends. Luckily Ms. Nikki made each of the kids their own preschool yearbook full of pictures of them at preschool (each child's book was different) and a DVD with more pictures and videos from preschool. I couldn't believe that she would take so much time to do so much for her individual students. I'm telling you, this woman is amazing!
Here's Leah with all her family that came to support her: Great Grandma and Grandpa Putnam, Great Grandma Tucker, Grandma and Grandpa Tucker, Makynlee, Grandma Leslie, Jackson, Dad, Mom, Corbin and Paige.
Our Leah is growing up so fast. Even though she knows how to try my patience sometimes, she really is a good kid. She's very smart and I know that she is going to do really well in school. Bring on kindergarten! Leah is SO ready!

Miscellaneous May 2015
May was a very busy month for us, full of lots of fun things and big milestones for Leah. Here are some of the highlights.
This is Paige meeting her cousin, Trey, who is about 3 months older than her.
It is a good thing mommies have laps big enough for two little ones to snuggle. In May we got to attend the Payson Temple open house. We tagged along with the youth group from our ward. Here we are waiting in the car for more people to arrive before we carpool down there.
The temple was so beautiful. And it was very helpful that we had people from our ward there with us since both kids refused to wear the covers for their shoes and had to be carried all through the temple. I took this picture of Ross holding Leah before we went in because I thought it was cute. Poor Ross had to keep this up all through the tour (up and down several flights of stairs). His back was pretty sore afterwards. One of our neighbors was nice enough to carry Corbin through the temple since I already had Paige to carry.
Here's some pictures of the kids I took after church one Sunday.
I love it when Corbin crashes for nap like this. I think it is so funny!Me and the two little ones got to get out of the house and go with Leah's preschool group on a field trip to the Bean Museum. We started out in a classroom where they taught the kids about a few animals and then brought them out (some alive, some stuffed) for the kids to see and/or touch. I was a little surprised when Leah wasn't afraid to touch the live snake!
After that we went around the museum looking at all the animal displays.
With the warmer weather, we were able to get outside and play more. Here's a picture of Corbin heading out to hit some golf balls around in the grassy area behind our house.
One evening I had the kids by myself. So we got in pajamas and they all snuggled on my bed to watch a movie. It's a good thing I don't mind sharing my space (not that I have much of a choice sometimes). But these are moments that I will always treasure.
Here's Paige meeting her cousin, Abby, who was born in January. She was so tiny, Paige is almost as big as her!
May is birthday season for my family. Here we are at Taysom's party for his 2nd birthday. It was a train theme and my sister had put together a little photo booth for the kids.
Apparently we like to have our kids at the same time. So here's the most recent set of three cousins all born in 2015. So fun that my kids have cousins to grow up with.
A couple of bucket heads! My kids are so goofy sometimes.
We still can't get enough of this cute little baby who is already growing so fast!
May means the start of shaved ice season. These are a favorite treat for Leah and me. Here we are with our first ones of the season!
Corbin LOVES to climb up on Leah's bike. We can't convince him that he just isn't big enough yet.
Corbin climbed in Paige's bouncer one day and sat in it upside down to watch TV. Next thing I knew, he had zonked out for a nap. Funny kid!
In May, out little Paige turned 2 months old. She's such a precious little girl!
Here are the stats from her 2 month check-up:
Weight: 10 lbs 5.5 oz (23 %)
Length: 22.5 inches (48%)
Head: 39 cm (70 %)
And Leah still loves her as much as ever! Everyone always comments on how much they think Paige looks just like a little Leah. They definitely are sisters! For part of Memorial Day we stopped to play at Provo Beach Resort for a while. Our kids absolutely love this place!
We had a few other major events in May as well. I'll post about those later.

April 2015
Most of April was spent getting used to life with this little bundle of joy!
Overall, Paige is such a sweet baby. The first week or so was hard because she didn't like being put down to sleep and sitting up to hold a sleeping baby was very hard on this mommy's body. But we got it worked out and she started sleeping better. Luckily Ross had a week off for spring break during April. This made recovery and adjustment so much easier. However, as you can see from this picture, I quickly had to learn how to share my lap with two little ones. Here's Corbin playing with the selfie mode on my camera phone. What a goofy boy!
Leah loves having a baby sister so much! She wants to hold her a lot and often wants to have her picture taken with Paige.
Here's Paige at 2 weeks old!
Her siblings love her SO MUCH!
I took a bunch of pictures to send to Ross. It was his first day back at work since Paige had been born.
Here are the kids enjoying a late snow storm.
Can't get enough of this cute little face!
I missed several weeks of church in April to stay home with Paige. Luckily we have great neighbors who were willing to help with the older kids so that they didn't have to miss church and I could get more rest during that time. I took these pictures after a neighbor walked them home from church one week.
We made brownies for Ross's mom's birthday. The kids loved licking the beaters. But boy were they a mess afterwards.
The kids got a bubble machine for Easter. Here they are out playing in the bubbles one morning. They had so much fun playing in this blizzard of bubbles. Too bad this thing went through batteries way too fast, otherwise they could have enjoyed it so much more throughout the summer.
Ross's aunt, Mary Ann, made this blanket and gave it to us when Leah was a baby. I have dressed each of the kids in BYU clothes and taken pictures of them with this blanket when they were little like this. Here are some I got of Paige.
Leah always loves to get in on a photo shoot.
Ross's sister, Norma, gave Paige these little pink BYU socks. I think they are so cute. I had to take pictures of Paige wearing them and send them to her since they were living in Indonesia when Paige was born and wouldn't be back until Paige was too big for them.
At the end of April, we got a visit from two very special people. Here is my Grandma and Grandpa Putnam holding Paige. I love these two so much!!!
I love that the temperatures finally warm up in April. We were able to enjoy some nice evenings out on the back porch. Here we are out playing one evening while Ross was gone doing church stuff.
I love this picture of Paige checking out a couple of Corbin's toys.
At the end of April, Paige turned 1 month old. Here's some of the pictures from a little photo shoot I did.
Leah's good friend, McKay, plays soccer. So I took the kids to one of his games so we could cheer him on. Here's a picture I took of them afterwards.
So there's the highlights from our April 2015. Good times had by all.
