Leslie Family Christmas Party

We started our December off with our Leslie Family Christmas party. Since Ross's mom was still on her mission, we decided to meet at Stuart and Cristina's house. After dinner, the kids got dressed up in costumes and reenacted the Nativity story.

Here is our Mary and Joseph. Corbin was supposed to be the baby Jesus, but we didn't dress him up, and he wasn't too keen on sitting in the make-shift manger.
Alex and Sierra were the angels, and Tyler and William were the shepherds.
Here are the wise men bringing gifts to the baby Jesus. Brian was our narrator and Tricia played the guitar for all our songs.
Corbin wasn't too sure about what was going on, but he was pretty good to just go with the flow.

Leah, on the other hand, would not put on a costume and didn't want any part in the story. But I did get a picture of her hanging out with William. (Leah and William have always been good buddies.)
How scary is this picture? If both of our kids had a twin, it might look something like this! Talk about "Double Trouble!!" Leah and Corbin had a ball playing with the big mirror they had in their living room.
It's always so fun when we can get together with our Leslie family. It hasn't happened very often while Ross's mom has been gone on her mission. But she'll be home soon, so hopefully we'll have more family get-togethers this year.
