Corbin's Birthday

We had a fun time celebrating Corbin's first birthday! On the evening of his birthday, Ross's mom came over for dinner. (My parents were out of town.) After dinner, we Skyped with my parents so that they could sing "Happy Birthday" with us and watch him eat his cake.

Corbin was a little hesitant at first, but then he started making a mess and had lots of fun playing with his cupcake.
After cake, Corbin opened his presents. But don't let these photos fool you. I'm pretty sure Leah did a lot more opening of the presents than Corbin did.
On the Saturday after his birthday, we invited the extended family over for a little party at our church. We kept things really simple. The biggest hit of the party was the balloons we blew up and left on the floor for the kids to play with. This kept them entertained throughout the party.

After some lunch, Corbin had fun eating cake again.
Here are some of the guests that came (our Miller family and Tucker family).
Then Corbin had fun opening some presents.
He's such a cutie. I still can't believe he is 1 already.
